Miami-Dade County Hosting First Sea Level Rise Workshops

Miami-Dade County’s Office of Resilience is seeking public input as part of a strategy to lessen damage from sea level rise. To that end, the county will host a series of public workshops where members of the public will have the opportunity to express their views concerning the social, environmental, and economic impacts of sea level rise.

The first workshop dates are April 10, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Mc Donald Senior Center in North Miami Beach and April 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Deering Estate in Palmetto Bay coinciding with Baynanza Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day.
