Building resilience is about communities coming and acting together to ensure that they are prepared for current and future environmental, social and economic changes. By convening local people, organizations and public and private institutions to drive neighborhood transformation we can enhance a community’s capacity for resilience.

Today, the Greater Miami and the Beaches region is teeming with community champions who have taken the initiative to revitalize the areas in which we live. From Miami Gardens to Little Haiti and from Hialeah to Homestead, resilience initiatives are not only blossoming, but succeeding in changing our landscape for the better.

Check out some of the great work that is being done in our communities, tell us why you love living in Greater Miami and the Beaches and why you believe in the future of our great region. Follow us at #Resilient305 to learn more!
