CareerSource South Florida launches IT training program for women

CareerSource South Florida has teamed up with the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Greater Miami-Dade County to launch the TechHire Center for Women.

The training program aims to put more women in well-paying IT jobs.

“With the demand growing for technology jobs, educating our community and preparing them to enter this workforce is critical,” said CareerSource South Florida Executive Director Rick Beasley. “Empowering women of Miami-Dade County with essential IT skills not only makes them competitive for the global market workplace, but improves the economic vitality of the community.”
